A run that signs in or touches credentials executes on the isolated pool — a fresh sandboxed browser, destroyed after the run — at 3 credits a minute instead of 2. The tier is decided from where the run actually executed, never from a flag a client could set.

Questions people actually ask

Do I have to use the cloud?
No. The same workflow runs on your own machine for free, forever, on every plan. The cloud is for when you want concurrency, a schedule that survives a closed laptop, or a route your own connection cannot offer.
What is a credit worth?
One credit is $0.001. Cloud running time is 2 credits a minute, which works out to $0.12 per browser-hour. Residential bandwidth is 7 credits per megabyte, and managed AI is 3.2 credits per thousand tokens with no per-call minimum.
What happens when the pool runs out?
Metered usage continues at exactly the same rates from a prepaid top-up, which you can cap. Topping up buys more credits, never a different price. You can also set a spend ceiling so a run is stopped before it can exceed it.
Which region do runs execute in?
The hosting providers we engage, and the region each one sits in, are named in the sub-processor register — which is the list our DPA binds us to, and the one that is kept current. We point you there rather than restating it here, so the two can never disagree.
Is a failed run charged?
Yes, for the time it actually ran. Nothing is charged for time that did not happen, and nothing at all is charged when the run executed on your own machine.
